Buildings are usually delivered to your site about 8–12 weeks after details are finalized and your order is placed (depending on our manufacturer’s production schedule), compared with a year or more for conventionally built projects.
We efficiently manage the entire budget process without many of the problems of traditional construction. The factory makes large-volume purchases directly from manufacturers and passes that advantage to you.
Built in state-of-the-art, environmentally controlled factories by technicians using advanced equipment, so all work is plumb, square and true. Experienced inspectors review every aspect of the build.
Components are nailed, screwed and glued together for improved strength and long-term durability. Every building is completely insulated and caulked for lasting energy efficiency.

Modular isn’t only for houses. Avalon sets multi-family and commercial buildings on tight city sites, and on schedule. This apartment building was set in Dorchester in just 3 days.

How we work
We can handle any or all of the work to complete your project: demolition, sitework, foundation, mechanicals and electrical, and finish work like siding, flooring, countertops, decks, porches and driveways. Complete or limited scope, whatever you need.
Turnkey service is available in eastern MA, Cape Cod and the Islands, northern RI and southern NH. Set and delivery service is available throughout the Northeastern US.
Massachusetts (including Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket), NH, RI, ME, VT, NY, NJ and CT. On Martha’s Vineyard we provide complete modular construction services in collaboration with our general contractor there. We also provide set-only services to the Island of Nantucket.

Financial info
Modular construction uses new-construction home loans, but because modular is faster, the loan term is shorter. Funds are advanced in installments as work progresses, and you pay monthly interest only on what’s been disbursed. When construction is complete, the loan is paid off with permanent financing.

Founder & President
More than 30 years in construction and a civil engineering graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute. In 2001, frustrated by the inefficiencies of stick building, Paul built a modular home of his own. Impressed by the speed, the quality and the ease, he decided to become the very best modular builder in New England.
